Boutique four star hotel for Bromley

Boutique four star hotel for Bromley

Bromley’s old Town Hall is being brought back into use after planning permission was granted to convert the property into a hotel and restaurants.

The permission, which is subject to conditions and a legal agreement, is for a 94 bedroom hotel which will see the restoration of many original features of the grade II listed buildings. The successful Cathedral Hotels application also included plans for two independent restaurants and a five storey residential block with basement parking on the site of the South Street car park.

New extensions will provide bedroom space to the original Town Hall which was built in 1907, with a two storey extension above the retained ground floor. In addition, an extension to the rear of the central courtyard will provide restaurant kitchen space, with an external space at the first floor level, with a new entrance to the hotel restaurant.
