Murray serves up luxury hotel

Murray serves up luxury hotel

Professional tennis player Andy Murray has transformed a Victorian Perthshire mansion into a luxury 15-bedroom hotel and Gate Lodge.

Located three miles from Murray’s hometown of Dunblane, Cromlix is set in 34 acres of secluded woodlands and garden grounds, with its own chapel and house loch. The five star hotel features a Chez Roux restaurant offering seasonal locally sourced produce wherever possible, five suites and ten bedrooms, gate lodge accommodation, reception hall, two drawing rooms, conservatory, dining room, snooker and meeting rooms.

The property has been refurbished to show much of its original heritage and has been furnished with Scottish antique furniture.

Managed by Inverlochy Castle Management International, the hotel has opened ahead of the 2014 Ryder Cup, which is being staged a short drive away at Gleneagles.
