Corbin + King launch first hotel

Corbin + King launch first hotel

The first hotel from Jeremy King and Chris Corbin, the London restaurateurs behind a number of restaurants including The Wolseley and The Delaunay, has opened in London’s Mayfair

by ReardonSmith Architects, The Beaumont occupies a 1926 building overlooking Brown Hart Gardens. The luxury, five star development features 50 rooms, 13 studios and 10 suites as well as the Colony Grill Room and American bar, a separate residents’ lounge, a small private dining room and a spa with hammam, hot stone platform, cold plunge pool and a gym.

A striking element of the hotel is ROOM, an experiential work of art commissioned from the Turner Prize-winning British sculptor, Antony Gormley. ROOM is a massive, modular piece made of stainless steel and fumed oak, placed on a low-level wing to the south side of the building's facade.
