Two-tone is trending in changing provision
Crown Sports Lockers
Leisure operators increasingly choose variety and visual appeal in changing areas.
No longer an afterthought in leisure provision, lockers, seating, vanities and washrooms are being transformed as fresh, exciting design concepts feed through to infuse the guest experience.
Leading wooden locker and storage specialists Crown Sports Lockers help conceive and deliver truly stunning changing environments that mark a quantum shift in a too often forgotten element of the visitor experience.
Village Hotels has long worked with Crown on its health club changing areas, introducing subtly shifting modular door patterns across its national property portfolio, continuing the trend in its latest, third, compact footprint site in Basingstoke.
Operator The Club Company is reinventing its sport and leisure destinations, introducing two-tone décor in changing areas tailored and fitted by Crown under a rolling programme of refurbishment across its estate.
Within the changing areas of newly opened Carden Park Spa, near Wrexham, the impact is also particularly eyecatching, set in stunning interiors.
Interior designers also love tonal variations. Crown has partnered with Ashton House Design on three prestigious spa projects in the South West of England - Thurlestone Hotel, Kingsbridge, Ilsington Country House Hotel & Spa, Newton Abbot and, most recently, the boutique Lincombe Hall Hotel, Torbay, where the tie-up introduced two-toned doors featuring leather-upholstered centre panels in a project that has broken the mould of traditional spa interiors.
“Two or twin-tone designs create heightened interest and engagement among guests,” says Crown project manager Spencer Grimwood. “New millennium changing areas are integral to the leisure and hospitality offering,” he continues, “delivering a level or sophistication and variety reflecting the ever- rising expectations of those using them.”
Crown design, manufacture and install tailored and off-the-shelf wet and dry solutions, including washroom facilities, across leisure, spa, hospitality, sport and business.
Their choice of finishes spans smooth and textured wood grain laminates, melamines and veneers, allowing two-tone schemes in virtually any décor to enhance modern, inspirational interior décors.
Security systems from traditional padlock and key to digital keypads and RFID locks are all available in finishes and colours to complement them.
For wet storage and changing areas, Crown have launched their waterproof locker range, fabricated from recycled plastic polymer board with special antibacterial coating that kills pathogens such as E coli and MRSA.
Whether partnering the main contractor, interior designer or linking direct with the operator, Crown’s dedicated project managers will provide the support needed to complete fit-outs on time and to budget.
With nearly 30 years’ experience, Made in Britain and FSC-certified manufacturer Crown uses timber only from sustainable sources, helping operators meet their green obligations.
Its top-end factory is powered by electricity generated from solar panelling and operates heat recycling and waste reduction practices.
From first meet to handover, Crown partners you every step of the way to premier changing provision.
