W Hotels Worldwide, part of Marriott International, will make its debut in Italy this autumn with the launch of W Rome, located on Via Liguria, next to the Spanish Steps.
The historic palazzo has been transformed into a luxury, lifestyle hotel, designed by Meyer Davis to exude 1970s glamour. The hotel features 147 open plan guestrooms and 15 suites, many offering private balconies and terraces.
The Extreme Wow Suite is the W brand’s modern interpretation of a traditional presidential suite and will offer striking views of the city and an outdoor terrace spanning 140sq m.
Other facilities include W Lounge, the hotel’s bar which will offer live music, DJ sets and cocktails; a rooftop bar and pool; the Giano Restaurant, a signature restaurant from Sicily’s celebrated chef Ciccio Sultano; and a gym and workout spaces.
