Meeting the call for a natural look for serviced apartments

BLACK F (Black Forest House) provides serviced apartments combining rustic charm with urban flair to fill the gap between classic hotel rooms and short-term apartment rentals.

Located in the Freiburg Güterbahnhof district, close to Germany’s famous Black Forest, Black F offers 138 fully furnished apartments and studios along with a lobby which serves as a reception, a get together area, and an extended living room. Other facilities include restaurants, a fitness studio and sauna.

The interior design of the development reflects the natural backdrop of the Black Forest. For the apartments and public areas, the designers selected Haro’s laminate floor Gran Via 4V Oak Italica Smoked, which replicates the look of natural wood and can withstand heavy traffic. Underlaid by Silent CT insulation to absorb noise, the flooring has been combined with the large format Gran Via with bevelled edges on four sides. More than 4,000sq m of the flooring was used in the project.
